• Is Coupious available in my area?
• Coupious is available to consumers in the Minneapolis/St. Paul area, the Bay Area, and the our original home, the Purdue University community in West Lafayette, Indiana. Subscribe to our blog, or follow us on Facebook or Twitter to keep up with our expansion news.
• What phones are supported?
• Coupious is currently available on the iPhone, iPod Touch, and Android platforms. We plan on adding BlackBerry, Windows Mobile and Palm later in the year. It is very unlikely that we will support older proprietary platforms.
• How do I get Coupious on my phone?
• For iPhone and iPod Touch users, you can download Coupious from the iTunes App Store. Android users, you can get the app by searching for "Coupious" in the Android Market on your T-mobile G1 phone.
• Where do the coupons come from?
• The coupons are listed directly by businesses. We don't scour the Internet for offers, nor do we aggregate newspaper inserts or direct mailers. As a result, all of our offers are 100% legitimate and redeemable.
• Will the cashier be confused if I try to show a coupon on my phone?
• Part of our agreement with merchants is to make sure their employees are fully trained on what our mobile coupons look like and how they are redeemed. Our goal is to make sure your experience is as smooth as possible. If you ever experience a problem redeeming one of our mobile coupons, please do not hesitate to contact us.
• Is this a subscription service? Will I ever have to pay?
• No and definitely not. Coupious is a free, on-demand service. You don't have to register or subscribe to anything, and if you don't want to use Coupious anymore, simply remove the application from your phone. We don't send you text message coupons, email offers, or anything in the mail.
• What kind of personal information do you collect?
• As a location-based mobile service, Coupious may collect your phone number and the geographic location of your mobile device in order to display relevant offers. We are strongly committed to protecting your privacy, and Coupious was designed with privacy in mind.
• Will businesses ever send me unsolicited offers?
• No. We don't reveal your personal information, ever. That includes any data that might identify you, such as your phone number or geographic location.
• Is there a way to print coupons online?
• Our focus is on providing the best possible mobile coupon experience. At this time, we have no intention of offering any Internet coupon services. There are plenty of great companies who do that already. Some of our favorites include Coupons.com, RetailMeNot.com, and DealCatcher.
